Family Sponsorship

Permanent residents and citizens of Canada can use this programme to sponsor family members living overseas to come and live with them in Canada. The sponsor is also responsible for ensuring that the sponsored relatives are settled in Canada.

Caregiver Pathway to PR

If they provide at-home care for children, seniors, or individuals with disabilities, foreign nationals in Canada can apply for permanent residency through the Caregiver programme. In this programme, the caregiver lives with the care receiver in accordance with their mutual agreement.
